CDx4HC405x and CDx4HCT405x devices are digitally controlled analog switches, which use silicon gate CMOS technology and the low power consumption characteristics of standard CMOS integrated circuits to achieve a running speed close to LSTTL.
The analog multiplexer and demultiplexer can control the analog voltage, which may change in the whole power supply voltage range (for example, VCC becomes VEE). It is a bidirectional switch and can use any analog input as the output, and vice versa. The switch has low on resistance and low off leakage. In addition, the device also has an enable control. When it is at a high level, all switches will be disabled and placed in an off state.
