CC2640R2F device is a 2.4GHz wireless microcontroller (MCU), which supports low-power Bluetooth® 5.1 and proprietary 2.4GHz applications. The device is optimized to realize low-power wireless communication and advanced sensing in building security systems, HVAC, asset tracking and medical markets, and applications requiring industrial performance. The outstanding features of the device include: support for Bluetooth 5.1 features: LE coded PHY (long distance), LE 2Mb PHY (high speed), broadcast expansion, multiple broadcast sets, and backward compatibility and support for Bluetooth 5.0 and early low-power specifications. Simple Link CC 2640R2F Software Development Kit (SDK) comes with a fully qualified Bluetooth 5.1 software protocol stack for developing applications on the powerful Arm® Cortex®-M3 processor. Extend the battery life of wireless applications, and the low standby current is 1.1µA when the RAM is fully maintained. Advanced detection is realized by the programmable and autonomous ultra-low power sensor controller CPU with fast wake-up function. For example, the sensor controller can perform 1Hz ADC sampling at 1 A system current. The software-controlled dedicated radio controller (Arm® Cortex®-M0) provides flexible low-power RF transceiver functions and supports multiple physical layers and RF standards (such as real-time positioning (RTLS) technology). Excellent radio sensitivity and robustness (selectivity and blocking) performance, suitable for low-power Bluetooth, with -103dBm at 125kbps (LE coded PHY). CC2640R2F device is a part of SimpleLink™ microcontroller (MCU) platform, which includes Wi-Fi, low-power Bluetooth, Thread, ZigBee®, Sub-1GHz MCU and host MCU.
