Micron's Critical brand has launched the new SSD P310, its first M.2 2230 PCIe 4.0 SSD, bringing SSDs to the smallest form factor M.2 form factor.
In the 4K random read and write test, it performed well.
The P310 also surpasses its peers through energy efficiency optimization and fine-tuning, effectively reducing battery consumption and extending device life.
The P310 adopts Phison's newly developed E27T main control chip, which supports M.2 2230 and a wider range of M.2 2280 SSDs, achieving full compatibility with TLC and QLC NAND flash memory, and the interface rate is close to the limit of 3600 MT/s. The E27T controller enables the P310 to support up to 2TB of storage capacity in the M.2 2230 specification and up to 4TB in the M.2 2280 specification, demonstrating high flexibility and scalability.
